In a narration script today I had "or just can't wait to share a breakthrough".

It came out as "or just can't wait to share a grapefruit".

Some days I am SO glad to be alone. It's good to be able to collapse in helpless giggles unobserved.

That's too funny. I was just sharing a story about a narration I did a few years back for a flooring company. A training VO about bamboo flooring...35 minutes of repeating the word "bamboo" got to me...I couldn't say it anymore, I forgot what syllable was stressed...it stopped looking like a word...I had a good case of the giggles which I shared with my youngest son....and finished the narration. But for weeks after that, if he wanted to make my laugh, my son would come up to me with a very serious face and just say "bamboo"...darn, I'm giggling now as I write this....i guess i haven't fully recovered.

It is funny how the brain can hiccup like that isn't it.

Embarrassed to say: I once forgot how to spell the word "of".....it only lasted like 30 seconds.....I was all "is it OV?". It was about ten years ago when I was in school..... used to drink too much....so who knows? Not a bright academic moment for me at all.

Maybe that was a sign I needed to get into VO? Too funny!

Not a VO moment really but....last Sunday on stage we're about to go into
"Runnin' Blue". I could not say "Boz Scaggs" to save my life. Drummer was teasing me about having too much to drink. Yeah...half a cup of Sam Adams and I'm out to lunch. Friggin lightweight. Rolls Eyes
