Using up my entire 2007 supply of beginner's luck, I signed up for free three months ago and landed a super interactive voice gig the very next day. With repeat business, that client alone will keep the wolves from my door for a few months.
Since that joyous start, however, I've had only one other client response.
It was: "Your price quote is ridiculously high. Whle you're very good, you need to look around and see what others are charging. Get real."
My quote was $175 for a four-minute corporate narrative. (sigh).
And while freebies cannot attach auditions or demos, I always get away with including my web site address with the bid.
In short: no upgrade necessary. |
