Rob Actis was indeed there, though he never mentioned living in San Diego so I didn't know to say "hi" from you. I've just sent him an email passing along your greetings.
Someone else from San Diego who always attends is Normal Ellis-Flint. I imagine you probably know him as well. _________________ Be well,

Hey guys, I've been MIA for a while as I always seem to drop in and out of the board. This is an old post but let me tell you, after reading Bob's great posts from last years DOD summit, I made sure I signed up for it this year. I wasn't sure what I could get out of what I thought was going to be a weekend for radio producers and creatives, but I most assuredly got something out of every single session. It was so worth it. I will be making every effort to attend again next year. And we all got to scope out the hotel that will be used for VOICE next year. Very nice with quiet rooms and no smoking anywhere indoors. Good workout room as well. Not only that but I got to spend time with all the VO-BBers in attendance. Of course the highlight of the weekend was the In N Out burger run by myself, Bob, Vance, Donovan and the oh-so-lovely Mrs. Donovan. Thank god they aren't east of the Mississippi. I'd be in serious trouble. And it's walkable from the hotel!! Anyway, I digress (and salivate). It was a great conference. Coincidentally, I corresponded with Harlan Hogan and he's working with Dan to possibly do a home recording session at next years conference. Stay tuned! _________________ Pam Tierney

Pam,
That is great news about Harlan's possible session next year. If it comes to pass, that will be one of the highlights for sure. And I agree, the In-N-Out Burgers were ever so delicious. I'm so glad you suggested that! _________________ Be well,
