A photographer decided to shoot portraits of the most heard VOs in Britain. Pretty cool.

Dan,

Terrific article. But someone slipped up. No Philip Banks? No David Monteath? What's up with that?

The uncredited people in the photo of Phil SAYER are his wife Elinor (one of the top voices in the UK) and their twin boys Ben (one of the top voices in the UK) and Alex (one of the top voices in the UK).

Messrs Monteath and Banks barely make a living.

Mr B and meself are ever so 'umble good Sirs and Ladies.

We beg only for a moment of your time as we proffer our poor wares. Spare a moment to listen to our vocal scratchings.

Nah, can't be bothered with all that.......its a shame that so many of the details of the article are wrong or at least misleading. Elli was virtually overlooked, Marcus ain't the voice of the balls (its a weird British reference, don't worry.) At the very least Charles Nove should have been credited, if they were going to mention the National Lottery.

Phil SaWyer on th other hand is trying to persuade unemployed friends to pay paint his picket fence

Sheeees, poor research is now being picked up by other papers and quoted as fact.

Nor is he the voice of the lottery TV or radio commercials (Tim Spall at the moment) as far as I'm aware. Even without such credits he has a very impressive voice CV so I am in no way trying to make him look a lesser talent.

If the newspaper coverage gets all those involved a few extra nice gigs HOORAH!

How's this?

I'll have to figure out how to get it in the library, but until I do, we can use this:

I tell you what, I did like the photography...usually newspaper photogs in the states do only so so, but I liked the composition in most of those shots.

I agree the photographs were all very good. The piece was about the photographer and his work.
