From an audition request today:
Quote: | Casting Specs: Male or female. Nice, contemplative read. Fairly even killed, don’t over do it. |

How can you overdo a killing? Bring them back to life, then do it again a different way? _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Kill them, take them to Max the Miracle Worker, then kill them again (but only if they're MOSTLY dead).

My name is Inigo Montoya...

Fairly even killed... pertains to the many different styles of delivery of the script. The client is requesting that you provide several approaches to the reading... to the point of exhaustion, but don't overdue it or go beyond your vocal qualities.
... thank you. _________________ "Bailey"

some sensibilities never change!
in an old radio show, comedian fred allen was in a skit trying to get back on the network with edgar bergen and charlie mc carthy for a new series.
the receptionist buzzed the agency sponsor and announced, "mr. tenderleaf, the next two auditions are here."
"ooh, good!" came the enthusiastic reply, "i LOVE auditioning actors! quick, where's my gun????!!!" _________________ rowell gormon
