Lots of good info in this thread. I use vistaprint... though I've not done actually notecards yet.
What a great idea Robert!!! I'm in the process of thinking of something to send. Don't know what though.
I thought I'd do a New Year postcard, and have my chick wear a New Year sash, with streamers, etc. and think of something catchy to say like, "Ring in the New Year with the Hip Chick!" I don't know... I've not given it a lot of thought yet.
The other thought I had was a Thanksgiving postcard... saying thanks, showing my gratitude. But sadly, the only thing I could think of was my chick on a plate. Or dressed as a pilgrim. Not real hip.
Still thinkin'. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

| OK, what do you do if you have extremely poor handwriting and you would like to send a personal message? |

Bob,
Would you send me your address to mail the blank cards to her? |

| Besides having Bob's wife write my notes, does anyone else have a suggestion to help me out? |

Locally, there's a store called, Paper Plus where I find my cards. There are plain or colored paper stocks in various thicknesses- also some you can create or design a personal message for the front, and print on in your printer. Of course, leave the inside blank for your handwritten message, and then purchase the correct sized envelopes for mailing.
I am not sure Paper Plus is a chain or not. But any specialty paper store I am sure could be found in many areas. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Well, you could do what I do...print. Slowly and neatly. But then again, I haven't written in cursive in years.
One thing I have done for the past couple of years is to write (print) the line of personal text I want (i.e. Best wishes for the holidays, blah blah blah) and my signature onto plain white paper...as many times as necessary to get it as neat and legible as possible. Then I scan that and save it as a file that I then print onto my cards or postcards as needed. Looks like I wrote them by hand, and as long as clients don't compare them side by side, they'll never know. And this way my hand lives to mark up scripts another day. |

A full line of X'es might work...and even seem sweet.
Failing that, why not send personal messages only to illiterate producers and clients?
Just trying to help... |
