Got this call today from an LA a non b'cast vid producer. He would like some custom demos to play for client. We have record place in Hollywood -Western and Franklin. I told the producer we would not charge for audition mp3's and we would flat rate the record narration .
He was saying 4-5 pages of pitch - I estimated low 3-400 You could tell me I should go back to being a wallmart greeter and put any $ amount you like on the read . Questions : Are you willing to record in Hollywood at ... recrd facility ?
The limo has been on the rack for some time now
so this may be a mercyjob on your part .
Yes, I will record your demo -if you need it, for nothing.

Ah, Les - he really talks this way! I've known him for years...quite a character. Hadn't thought of him for ages and ages.
