So, it's that time again. Time to figure out what holiday prezzies to send to agents, managers, top clients, and that awesome casting director who brings you in all the time. Anybody have a good idea for special, reasonably-priced, not-too-obsequious, easy-to-ship-or-have-shipped 'corporate gifts'?

Inspired by DB's request to buy her a coffee I searched around for coffee gift sets in the USA and found some really nice things.

Sadly for DB, Dunkin' Donuts don't do business with the British so I couldn't order anything from them either online or by telephone.

I thought this looked fabby ... http://www.shipwreckcoffee.com/gift-basket-shipwreck.html

I'm envisioning gummed-up CD players all over the country.

It's their fault for buying those cheap machines that omit the "WARNING: Do Not Insert Chocolate In CD Tray" label.

i just returned from a convention where i picked up a cool package, about 3"x3", with four magnets.
so i thought.
they were squares of chocolate with the company logo and name on two, decorative something-or-other on the other two.
they taste good but don't stick to the fridge at all.

Be careful with holiday gifts... many companies don't allow employees to accept gifts from suppliers.

All the companies on my list receive gifts... that's for sure! If they didn't/couldn't, that would be so much easier...

I've been thinking alot about this... I'm thinking maybe a Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts gift card in with the holiday card I send.

Though, I think maybe it's kinda tacky to send a monetary gift like a gift card, but, on the flip side, I see it as very useful compared to some of the other stuff I've seen.

I had a whole plan for my card --- I originally thought to send either a Thanksgiving or New Yeor card. If NY, I was going to have my chick wearing a sash, with confetti and the like all around, celebrating the new year, but I think I'm going to be short on funds to hire the designer to create it. (and, God willing, the chick will be getting a facelift in 2008, so no need to flaunt her tired face prior to the surgery, I suppose!). Hey... that could be Thanksgiving... my chick on a plate with a carving knife over her head.... ha ha....

VistaPrint has some great holiday templates for card. I was playing with them this weekend.

Ya know, I just happen to know someone who can offer an entire catalog full of gifts for any occasion (he said, tongue-in-cheek). In fact, I may even be able to talk the owner into giving up a special price.
