Hi there,
I'm going to be in Manhattan from Oct 18-22 on what allegedly will be a vacation from VO, but if something irresistible comes through I'm wondering if any of you have a studio I could wangle a session through?

Hey Bruce,
I'd recommend Full House Productions (www.fullhouseny.com). I'm not sure what the rates are but the people there are fantastic. I keep a list of every NYC studio I've ever recorded in so if you need more just let me know.

Edge Studio in NYC has a pretty great facility as well. This page lists their rates.
I'd love to be able to invite you to my house in Jersey, but my studio is crap. I did a job for a guy just last night (at 2:00 am) and he said the following:

Hopefully the next time you come to the area, I'll be able to offer you a fully equipped home studio to work from, although I am about 1 - 1.5 hours outside of Manhattan depending on traffic.

Bruce,
I agree with Tom & Joe about Full House & Edge.
Full House is probably going to be a bit less expensive.
And as to Joe's comment "depending on traffic" in these parts menas "add an hour to your ETA!"
