I could hear the 8KHz tone - nothing above that.

Back when I was growing up in Lake Wobegon (true story, ask me about it sometime) I knew a real, live, Norwegian bachelor farmer named Chalmer. He was so "deef" that's all I remember him saying. And just about that loud, too.

Egads...yeah, I could only "hear" up to and including the 14.9 one, but I could apparently sense the 21.1 version because it made my head hurt. Really bad.
