There's a new site I just learned about from Bryan Cox, an acquaintance from another board. It's called VOPlanet and you can make your own decisions about it.

According to Bryan, the site was started by his agents and they work to get the "big" jobs. I guess time will tell. If you think you'd like to sign up, Mention his name as the referring talent and he gets a small referral fee.

This is part of the VoiceCasting.com legacy/franchise.
I recommend that you do plenty of research.

And heck if you're going togo ahead with it and mention someone's name, mention mine.

Gasp

I gasp in shock and dismay that you missed the reference to "another board" in the first line, DB.

I......I thought I knew you........

THERE'S ANOTHER MESSAGE BOARD?!?!?

Really, Justin-- sometimes other people DO say it for me, you know.
I can see how much YOU care.

I wonder what the point of signing up for different voice sites. Aren't they going to get mostly the same auditions as V123 and Voices.com? If so, you're paying an extra fee for no reason.

I think (from the material I have received) they are limiting the numbers who can sign up and will be screening the demos.

(And mention my name too - let's see if they can the $20 twenty ways...)

Does the fact that I brought it up not show that I care? Frown

That's a good thing. Man... you want to scare the kiddies this Halloween time? Play some of the V123 and Voices.com demos for them!

I believe they are looking for around 300 or so people total and according to Bryan, they are actual agents. I don't know if Voices or V123 are run by agents so maybe that's the difference.

would you believe...

the only job i ever got from them was cancelled the morning of the session.

no...really...it was.

i'm still curious about the setup, though, as their website was top notch and the auditions i was sent were usually for big companies.
