VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

We want to thank our friends here at VO-BB for "hangin in". It's taken a long time, and we've had a few setbacks, but we're finally ready to make the "BIG" announcement about VOICE 2008!

And as promised, VO-BB is the first to know. (Although, as soon as I finish this post, the blast email announcement will be sent out.) BTW, if you're new to this board - and you don't know about VOICE - just ask!

We want you to know that many of the comments and suggestions from members of this board were taken to heart as we put VOICE 2008 together. For example, there were several comments about the length and days of the conference. It is literally impossible to do what we want to do in less than four days - so, to minimize the time away from work, we've scheduled VOICE 2008 to start on a Friday and end on a Monday. This also provides ample time for those who want to see the sights of LA or Hollywood.

So... here's the scoop!

Dates: August 8th - August 11th (Evening reception on Thursday, Aug. 7th)
Location: Hyatt Regency Century Plaza - in the "heart" of Century City, CA (just south of Beverly Hills in Los Angeles.)
Registration Opens: January 1, 2008

We'll be launching a completely re-designed website soon and there will be a LOT of information coming in the months ahead. If you're already on the VOICE mailing list, start looking in today's email for the "official" announcement. If you aren't, you can sign up at www.voiceacting.com/elists.

We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles in August 2008.

Bless you sir! I think most of us can handle being away from the office for a day or day-and-a-half in any week, and straddling the weekend like that works really well. And it's easy to tack a day on one side or both for sightseeing.
