Hi all,
Do any of you use screen capture software such as 'Snag-It' or 'Camtasia'?
I need to do an instructional and promotional narrative using the client's web page and quote screens as well as other photos and videos then import the images into Power Point.
Any and all input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Craig |

Well, I'd like to be able to capture navigation through the screen or screens and select parts and pieces and such...zooming in-out etc.
Kinda of an instructional 'how to' capture.

Besides using what Jeff has already mentioned, I've used SnagIt for instructional purposes when I needed just a bit more. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

I used Snag-it extensively when I was doing documentation many years ago. It is fantastic - very easy to use and incredibly flexible. Can't recommend it highly enough. _________________ Elaine

I use Camstudio, check it out at sourceforge.net and grab the lossless codec as well. Best of all it's free (and is what Camtasio and others are based on) beware, newer versions do not have some of the audio abilities, as that code was left out. |

thank you for the resources. but can you tell me exactly how to get the older verison of camtasia unlocked? all that link goes to is the website where one is encouraged to purchase the newest version. _________________ rowell gormon

Interesting - I did download Snag It and got the software key with no problem. Perhaps this was a time-limited offer. When you do download the older version of Camtasia there is a phone number you can call - maybe they can give you the software key. Sorry about that... _________________ Elaine
