Mary,
Well done, and I'm not just blowin' smoke.
Seriously, such compassion and depth in your voice and read, it's marvelous

Very nice work Mary, but where did you find all those young smokers? They have some kiddie pool halls up there?

Thank-you again - I appreciate all the kind words very much.
And huge thanks especially to Anthony - who tells me that "everybody" in NY has heard this so it would be a good idea to help people associate it with ME. So, a bunch of postcards are going out today to some people I'd like to connect with. I thought it would also be a good time to contact ALL the people in NY that I've been in touch with in the past 3 years regarding VO , and that turns out to be a very long list so I had to order a second round of postcards. It never would have occurred to me if Anthony hadn't let me know that this thing was getting a lot of air time and told me to wake up and get moving!
A neighbor of mine owns a local print shop (that also sells organic peanut butter and fair trade chocolate!) so the experience has been very pleasant |

Nice job.
I think this was originally recorded and aired in the UK where it had a similar impact. How do I know......have a look at the electrical sockets in the background of the shot with the kid in the construction helmet....3 pin squares, always a giveaway!!!!
Note to self......get out more. _________________ www.davidmonteath.com

David, that is indeed what they told me, and when they showed me the spot prior to recording, the VO was British as I recall. I did not notice the outlets - although if a Blackbird or a European Robin had been audible in the background I would have noticed |

Late to the party...I couldn't open the file till now (that update that mysteriously removes my ability to open .swf & .mov files.) But I did want to say you did a very good job on the voiceover, Mary. _________________ Mary |
