anyone using this as an insert? I don't see an easy way to monitor accurate recording levels with Pro Tools so see this an option. But no idea how to calibrate it for VO. Which meter ballistic to use? And peak level at 0, right? _________________ www.chriskoprowski.com/en |

I just looked at that plug-in yesterday. Here is a link to a guy talking about it on : Digi's forum
Have you inserted the BF Essential Meter Bridge plug-in into the track so you can read levels? I have run tone through a channel and then put the meter bridge on it and was pleased to find the level to be just about right on. The "punch" being talked about is something that you will not need to worry about unless you are asked to produce or perhaps you are doing TV station imaging....they usually don't do a lot of post work on a voice so it's good to give the audio to them ready to fly.
I'm probably making the waters muddier for you here...sorry. _________________ Brian Haymond

Guys— enough already. It's an honest question.
Us pointing out our lack of knowledge isn't terribly helpful. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
