Kids woke me up early, but let me stay in bed for a while surfing the Internets. Waited until a sufficient amount of noise was coming from downstairs before heading out to breakfast. Usual Saturday breakfast haunts very crowded, so we tried somewhere new. Everyone liked it, will go there again. Pretty waitresses. Sliced bananas on the French toast. Obscene amount of whipped cream on top of the kids' chocolate milks. Dad Tax changed that.
Got word that possible project may have finally gotten going after about 15 months of waiting. Still not holding my breath, but hopeful nontheless.
Kids off to grandparents' after church tomorrow.

Probably the same thing as the "Older Brother Tax!"
They take "a bit" of what you've got!

We took off to spend some time at Capistrano Beach for the week. It was crazy getting ready to leave. Had to record 3 major auditions, But it was a great week. A national radio spot, a local TV spot and a narration for a new client out of Chicago. Glad to get everything done. Today....Football! Got a session on Tuesday. Windin down and resting up for the big Turk. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Cleaned my carpets, picked up lots o dog poop (see my avatar?), raked & bagged leaves, vacuumed the tiled areas, grocery shopped, church, a touch of laundry, cried over Purdue's loss, started a MySpace page, fighting off a cold that has moved into my chest. A 2 yr old fits in to all of that as well. Tired, but feels good.
Time for a nice glass of wine (or two) and a date with the TV! Or maybe just go to bed. Oh, the choices!
'Night, all!

P.S. Maybe you don't care, but some have asked: it's a Pug and an English Mastiff. |

HAHAH! When one of our kitties is unfortunate enough to wake the Shih Tzu, they get bitten. This evening, the puppy was asleep in my lap when my hand brushed up against her. She full-on came after me thinking it was a cat. As soon as she realized, she started whining and crying thinking I'd be mad. We were too hysterical!! I love animals. I really do. _________________ Threadjackers local 420

I have no animal stories, but my weekend (of which you've seen photographic evidence else where on this board) started with a bang and went up from there. It ended on a high note, too!
Getting to meet Patrick, Melissa and to see Liz again was so terrific. Molly's was a great, authentic New York experience. Then two days of mind-boggling voiceover instruction.
And to top it all off, I got to see Melissa again and to meet Greg Houser (Yoda117) for dinner. Greg even insisted on paying, though he did let Melissa and me put down the tip. And then Melissa got me to La Guardia so efficiently that I was able to catch an earlier flight home.
Now, I'm must collapse for a few hours. _________________ Be well,

Now that you mention it. They do look dead.
But it sounds so much nicer when said by Kara.

Don't go calling Animal Control just yet!! No, they're not dead, just 'sun drunk'. I don't know where they find the energy to sleep all day, but they do. Especially in the sun. The Pug ("Guinness") goes on his back once in a while, too. As funny as it looks, I love it when I catch 200 lbs. ("Partner") sprawling like there's no tomorrow.
