I'm sure it won't do any harm to Emma's career. She'll be deluged with requests after this - it's been huge on Reddit and other sites.
I played opposite her in Jonathan Harvey's first produced play, and in two other productions one of which she co-wrote with Jonathan, (goodness, 19 years ago now) and she is a very talented actress, comedienne and writer to boot.

No doubt... I'm sure she'll continue her wild success. I feel pretty strongly, personally, about not making a mockery of clients or their business, though. I personally would really feel badly... must be that Catholic guilt. Just one girl's opinion.

We used to do spoof spots on a regular basis when I was a radio production director, however it was usually at the encouragment of the account exec who knew the client's sense of humor. One that comes to mind was a local cemetary that had just openend a new mosoleum. In the spoof spot we referred to it as the Lay Away plan. In this case it helped the AE build a closer relationship with the client. Too bad the Tube folks lack a sense of humor.

Somewhere along the line I learned a simple expression "There is always a bless in the mess"
Emma’s stock has risen, the politicians and bureaucrats are seeing as the bungling fools they are, and the Report is still the scum sucker he/she is and will remain.

They spelled her name right, that has to be a blessing. Philip is spot-on as he often times is, life will go on, CNN, FOX and BBC will pluck the misinformation out and report on that then give a bit of time toward clarity. I only wish it were I enjoying all this beneficial PR. Mind you, no humans or animals were killed or injured in this gaff.

Don’t talk to the press, Don’t talk to the press, Don’t talk to the press. Leave them to their own devices, that were good fiction comes from.
