DC-- that is my beloved, Dieter. (real name DeWitt).

Yeah-- we're heading into snow tonight. the plane is 2.5 hours delayed and I'm on the free wifi at the Denver airport.

I hope ther snow doesn't impede the airplane's landing.

Regarding Moneybags Fraley— he never lets us pay for ANYTHING. Next time he's in Boston, I'll have to handcuff him to a chair in order to pay the dinner checks. We were at a little restaurant called Off Vine.
Used to be a house. Tres spif-fay.

We stayed at the Beverly Laurel Motor Hotel.
Wicked retro, and not the remade kind.

The workshop was great! Buzzy's is a faboo place to work, to start with. There was lots of going over the elemets: pitch, pitch characteristic, tempo rhythm, mouth work, placement. We spent a bunch of time rehearsing and recording scripts that Pat wrote. There's never enough time at a mic! On the other hand, it's so beneficial to see others work!

Taking a class like this really heats up the the burner under your buns.

That it does. (As do regional get-togethers...) I'm hoping to do some more in the new year.

Hey, I was in LA late last week. We spent Thursday at Griffith Observatory and Friday at the Getty Museum. It was cold, rainy, and foggy on Friday -- and thus the city lights view from the Getty was invisible!

But, a wonderful time was had by all and now I'm home in snowy New England...

Is it just me or do voice acting geniuses on the West Coast simply have MORE HAIR than any of the East Coast people?

What is this...snow...of which you speak?

Just kidding. I grew up in Seattle and we occasionally saw it.
Our church yesterday had a party afterwards, and there was snow. Must have been snow machines or something...there was an area for the kids to have snowball fights and even a sled run. For my youngest (now 4), it was pretty much the only time she's been in snow...she was too little to remember it from our Kansas days.

Scott,

I was in Seattle last January and the day I landed it had just snowed. It was beautiful... of course it was also freakin' COLD!!! My hotel was a couple of blocks from where I was meeting with clients and the wind up off the water was something else.

The real voice acting greats are total slap heads! I, myself, personally became a slap head just so I could also become great. People outside and inside LA and the west/east coast have often remarked.

"Phew! Is there no beginning to this mans talent!"
