Just found this... and thought it was kinda one of those "duh" moments. I do believe many women know this answer long before science could prove it.

Actually FRank, the reason pregnant women don't fall over is because it's too darned hard to get back up!!! (same reason many shoes don't get tied in months 8 and 9!)
