Don't really need anything but the above would certainly be a conversation piece. |

I believe the above should be entry level kit for local radio and local TV commercials and on-hold anno's. |

Phil, I'd guess you'd call that a "Trophy Mic", eh? Truly the..."Gold Standard". _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

Great PR opportunity "golden voice has a golden mic". Doesn't come across as arrogant in the least ....Does it?
All the house breakers in the area would flock to Portgordon. Having said that, to whom would they sell it? |

Banksey - HE is a talk-show host on radio and TV who "sits behind the Golden Microphone... of (his) the Excellence In Broadcasting Network".
Here is my request for the Holidays - just fill it with money...

Banksey - I know you are across the pond, so Rush might not mean much to you. But, Rush Limbaugh IS talk radio in the U.S. He broadcasts on over 600 stations a day. Politics aside, we know Deirdre doesn't like us going there, he is an amazing broadcaster who can spin any subject to his liking.
(Deirdre, was that free from any poilitical non-sense?)

I am just dreaming of a new "home" for the studio... Here is what I found. What do you think... is this "Chez Frank" or what???? I hope to "move-in" soon.

DB...I worked with Rush in Kansas City radio in the '70s. At the time, we all kind of laughed at him, because he was a sports fanatic (worked for the Royals)...and had a.....how do I say it...not so resonant voice.
Guess we know who got the last laugh on that one |

Just goes to show that the majority of so-called broadcast professionals can't spot the "X" factor. Worth bearing that in mind the next time someone whips out their resume to show the depth of knowledge and wealth of expertise.
When an expert says "You'll never make it as a voice over". Smile politely and reply.
"Watch me". |
