Wow, that's cold!

It got cold (for us) last night at 39F/4 C.
It drove two of the native creatures with their cold feet into my bed.
I think hot chocolate is coming with breakfast today.

Sorry, that's not what I meant.
I mean that we're going to go out and hunt down our breakfast in this cold at the Pancake House.
Their hot chocolate with the mountain of whipped cream is always a treat. The cold just makes it better.

It was absolutely horrid at the new Hart homestead last night. It was a brr chilly 54 degrees when we settled in for bed and can you believe the high today is only 69? We're stockpiling wood for the fireplace as I type and mama is pulling out the extra blankets and sweaters. There was some talk of running to the store for extra milk, bread, and batteries but we've decided to hold off one more day and see if this nastiness breaks before panic sets in.

It was a bit chilly in the evening as we went to the Charlotte Bobcat NBA game last night. Mid 40's and a bit breezy. Lucky for us I had scored a couple of half court seats and was able to go back under the stands near the locker room to high five the team along with a quick hello to a few of their guests, Terrell Owens, Deion Sanders and Marshall Faulk. Panther game tonight with the Cryboys might be a bit brisk again in the mid 40's.

I believe tomorrow we will be at 65 degrees.

DB,

Had about the same high/low temps as you yesterday. Today is a bit warmer (28F right now), and supposed to be in the 50s and RAINING tomorrow... it'll be a deluge, what with all the snow melting.

Hehe.

Sorry. I got carried away.

Wait until the game tonight, there should be about 10,000 or so Jessica Simpsons in the stands. The local paper gave a link to this cutout so that everyone can print it out and hope that the Jessica curse continues to work.

Here's the link to the full size version.
