Hey Guys,
There's a piece of studio gear I've found on Ebay, but the seller is in Portugal!
Has anyone ever had "issues" with overseas transactions on Ebay? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

i buy SD cards in bulk from china. i can't say "often" - but more than the average bear, and i have not had any problems other than sometimes slow shipping. do they take paypal? if so then there is very little worry. i have a friend who works with ebay to "resolve" non-payment/non-delivery issues --- he tells me that the paypal resolution process is very good.

I bought an mp3 player from a seller in China once. I ended up sending it back, but that was really b/c I wanted something a little simpler. The return process went fine.
My husband bought a Mazaratti Quatro Porte from a seller in England on eBay once.... before you get all excited... it was an accident. He goes on and looks at cool cars, and he used to bid just for fun.... until he actually won that car (but, it's such a bargain, he said!!! Yeah right, if we had that kind of spare cha-ching, I think I'd want to spend it on something else). Anyway, we couldn't ship it over for various customs reasons, and he ended up re-selling the car over there via eBay. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

I've had several items from China without a hitch. Just make sure the seller is legit to the best of your ability. If it is a piece that is vintage or expensive beware. There are several people on ebay scamming for that kind of stuff. At gearslutz there is a thread about the ones they have discovered. It's called ebay scams I think. I can pm you a link if you want.
