|
|
Just got word from the filmmaker that Forgotten Ellis Island, the documentary for which Bruce Miles and Drew Hadwal and I provided voices, has been selected as a "prime time national special for late spring or early summer broadcast".
She also said "Plus, the Smithsonian Institution is planning on creating a traveling exhibit using clips from the film and images from the book and film--it will be a free exhibit and be placed in museums, libraries, schools, all sorts of public spaces across the country...they need to find a corporate sponsor to underwrite the $500k but are confident it will happen.
All told, 2008 is looking like a pretty amazing year for FEI!"
This has been a good week so far |

YES !
I relish knowing Mary, Bruce, and Drew are an integral part of the piece, and made it what it is. Without you, we wouldn't have this thread, and this good news! _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

Mary, Bruce and Drew...
Good for all of you...and good for the memories preserved and honored in that wonderful film and book. _________________ Be well,

I'm really looking forward to the program, knowing in advance how wonderfully professional your parts will be.
Cheers,
