I had asked him to make sure and get a "2-shot" cutaway at some point during the intvw, plus he was getting bumped all the time by groupies from behind...

Ah, the unsung life of the photog. Never been one myself but I've had several friends that were/are in their careers. Man they can complain a lot.

Yep. I worked grip for one station when Pope John Paul II came to San Antonio in 1987. Got a few earfulls of what was wrong with the world.

You're right, they do complain a lot, but I've come to accept it. Most of them (the non-union ones) work their tails off, and (again) most of them are an underpaid, but motivated and an affable sort of employee.
