Speaking of microphones......here is the location for a unique "must have" microphones for your collection (well, at least you have to see to believe).
(Thanks to Greg Phelps (G for finding this internet addy)

I have not heard these mic's in person (just samples from the internet), but they look unique.

Frank,
Very interesting. I'm downloading one of the audio samples, now. _________________ Be well,

I am curious too, but downloading audio proves... nada. Obviously audio can be 'fixed' to sound awesome. Furthermore I know IKEA stores where they sell lamps like that for a lot less than $ 1954,= a piece plus shipping
Kidding ofcourse... love to have a demo... and a review in LEARN.
Poland is near the Netherlands... oh wait... I'm in the Dutch Antilles now. |

A wooden mic?
It looks like an elaborate joke!
You never know, though. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

It sounds nice, but you have to match it with a mahogany preamp. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

They look like they're for elderly voice talent who are hard of talking.

Needless to say they are interesting. Maybe someone should ask about their demo policy....maybe I should. |

It's based on the MKH416 as both sound great in an empty Voice over booth
The preamp/compressor doesn't have pots it's controlled by sandpaper. You just rub off the bits of audio you don't need. For -6db hard limiting you take it back to the grain and rub in some teak oil. |
