VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

After trying to keep my distance from my under-the-weather wife this past weekend, I started feeling "it" coming on Monday evening. Clogged head, scratchy throat, etc. Sure enough, but the time I awoke yesterday it was in full swing and I had to...for I believe my first time ever...back out of a session I had scheduled for this morning. I emailed them yesterday and explained that unless they wanted a Barry White sound-alike for about a :10 spot, I probably wouldn't be able to help them. Alas, it was a 100+ page narration and I knew I wouldn't be able to pull it off. They were okay with it, as I am one of a small stable of talent who share the wealth of these scripts. It still stinks not to be able to do it, though.

If I had been smart, I'd have started the Airborne Saturday. Oh well, back to bed to try and expedite the recovery. So just a reminder to wash hands regularly, keep your distance from sickos and be proactive about your health.

I use Thieves... you can read about it on my blog. I know it sounds bizarre, but seriously, it really helps.

Now I will say that since Sunday, I've been dealing with a slightly scratchy throat. I've been taking Thieves, and it seems to be putting off the rest of what comes along with that, which is good. Although, today, I forgot to do any Thieves. And tonight, my nose, ever so slightly, began to run.

So, I broke out the NeilMed bottle which I bought a couple of months ago, but was afraid to try (it's like the Neti Pot, but it's a plastic bottle with a tube... same concept though). I just did it b/c I was reading this post, and there are so many of you that swear by it... and reading this post reminded me...

It wasn't that bad, I will admit. Let's see if it helps with the sniffles.

I'm going to take my Thieves now. Both things can't hurt.

Ha! The Thieves I use is not the "household cleaner" but the essential oil. Two drops on the tongue and I chase it with water. Mmmmm Mmmmm tasty.

I must admit, not using it yesterday really wasn't good. My sniffles are worse today.... most definitely not a full blown cold though. There's still hope.
