Well, it's 2006 already out here....
I'm just about sober enough to wish you all a wonderful and productive 2006.
May all your gear lusts be fulfilled and your clients fall to their knees in genuine appreciation for the hard bloody work we all know we put in.
Drink too much....
That's an order....
I don't want to be the only one.

Just saw on the news that New Year just rang in London...Happy New year to Simon and everyone else in his time zone...a belated Happy New year to Mike...and a rousing general Happy New Year to you all!!! May this Year be your most prosperous and successful yet.
I've got my New Year's Resolution all set up...as tonight is the 3rd anniversary of my last cigarette, instead of wasting time working on all my other bad habits I'm focusing my resolve entirely on getting professionally established as a VO. Got specific goals and everything. And if losing another bad habit comes as a logical detail of the execution of said goals, that's just gravy.
A warm welcome to all new family members and friends who will be arriving this year, and solemn and heartfelt farewell to those who will be departing us. And to all of you here on the board, may each of you discover a previously unknown vocal ability, find yourself in better health, and be inundated by damned near more paying work than you can handle. (and if you should get more than that, I'm available... )

Well, maybe more.
