Ok, then, you're forgiven. Sticking out Tongue From now on, I want a disclaimer when telling people taglines are bunk. (he he he).

I agree with Lou as well. The dark purple, to me, is ok... it's the lilac I don't like.

Sorry I don't have any suggestions though. I don't like to critique without suggestions... so again, sorry.

Sorry, it's early and I'm sleep deprived Smile

From the first batch, I like the first of the three. Your latest logo looks good, but your first name in gray needs to be another color to stand out from the gray background.

And this may just be a personal preference, but in both cases I think the singular version of voiceover sounds better than the plural.

definately singular.

and ... i like mr. microphone ... i don't care what anybody says ... so there.

the first thing i do with a logo is convert it to gray scale - imho - a logo MUST work in black & white before you add color. this latest one does ... (with a little level tweaking).

LOL! I already named him that. Of all the designs so far, the dark one was my favorite. I think that if they make the graphic to the side a little bigger, added a few knobs (maybe a VU meter) to give the impression of a preamp, then to change the color (in addition to the stuff everyone has mentioned here), we might have something to work with.

Why? Everybody knows things go better with cheese.

After looking at thelogocompany's site I decided to give them a shot, as I really liked their work, and what they did for Dave Diamond's logo Smile

I figured it was worth taking the chance. Hope the outcome proves it one worth making Wink

Now, don't write off a "Mr. Microphone" so quickly. Market research stills shows that customers relate to animated characters that represent the product. Team mascots are bigger than ever. Some insurance company is using a lizard to be a spokesperson (imagine that). Media groups like radio and even TV use an animal as an image link (The Moose 103.1).

Best use of the mic on a business card I've seen recently was on an art director's card.

My "no mics" notion was a suggestion for VO websites, but really, who cares?
Do what floats your boat. I think Greg's Mister Mikey is a scream. Far and away more interesting than the old Nightfly mic by itself.
