I'll bet I'm the only person who recorded "Remember. We get cows pregnant." today...now wait - don't you all go running for that record button!
And then this morning I was the fiesty Granny in 2 new Granny 8 radio spots. Not only do I usually get to read at the speed of light for these spots, but I get to rhyme too...no meter to this poetry of course, but it all rhymes with Eight.
Always a challenge, but always fun. _________________ Playing for a living...

Is that up for debate?
Or I am I too late?

I did a spot years ago for a pig feed that promised less pig shit in the pen. Not those exact words, but close enough. It could have used some rhyming, that's for sure.

And on Monday I was asked to sing..."Pardon me boy, is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?" A take-off on the Glenn Miller song. For a guy who can hardly carry a bucket to the barn, I was able to carry the tune in two takes. _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

I once cut audio for a lingerie/"adult" store AND a religious order of nuns in the same week. Don't even try to guess how many times I checked the file name before sending that audio into cyber space! _________________ Mary |

I think you've all bitten off more than you can masticate.*
Hesitantly, I admit that I'd be happy with any copy right now --- unusual or straightforward. Nothing new lined up, and the few clients I do have on the hook are dragging their heels on scripts. I know things will pick up, I'd just rather it were sooner than later.
*For anyone wondering if they should be offended, it means "chew". _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

I like the way Deirdre always manages to keep a PG rating on this site.

It's actually a DB rating... I'd like to see it as a new industry standard, myself |
