V123 has pretty much wiped out any kind of "standard" non-union rate.
Actually, it seems that the 'standard' is now "peanuts".
IV is a bit better, but people there still want to pay next to nothing for professional VO services. Disheartening to say the least. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

I'm still trying to figure out what Mexican Spanish is... and I live 1 hour from Mexico. But then, I'm thinking in California English... San Diego English, to be specific.. Maybe I need to learn Minneapolis English, and then I could understand what the guy is trying to say. But depending on how close they live to Canada, they may have a Canadian English dialect. So if the intended target customer speaks with a Mexican Spanish dialect, and they live in Minneapolis, that may not be the same Mexican Spanish I've been hearing down these parts.

Actually, Mexican Spanish is as different from Spain Spanish as American English is fromn England English.
Different slang, different accent, etc. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

You should try living here in Texas, where so much of the Spanish is "Tex-Mex"...just like a lot of the food.
Hmmm...now I'm hungry. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

When the Spaniards "settled" in Mexico, and inter-married with the ChiChiwas and the Mexicanos. the Castillian (Spain Spanish) language was rather brutalized by the locals. Most of the Hispanics that I have worked with, and have roots in Mexico, are quite impressed when the hear people use the Castillian form. The Spanish language spoken in Mexico is rather laid-back, as you say. _________________ "Bailey"

Actually, just like there are a bunch of American and British dialects, there a are quite a few Mexican dialects. The City folks (Mexico City) speak a fairly formal dialect, while the Sonorans (Northern Mexico) have a much more relaxed way of speaking (sloppy, the City folk say), and on it goes from there. I can't tell you how many jobs I've seen where someone gets a translated script of a spot or narration from one Mexican, and the other Mexican who has to read it says "Oh no, this is all wrong. We'd never say it this way." Which is fun when you yourself speak not enough to know the difference. Arrgh.

To partner directly with our company to start a brand new
Concept here in Orlando as well as in California, I don’t know
If you’ve ever had an interest in living in the united states if
You have ever wanted to own your own business in the
Hospitality business or would just be looking for a return on

Strong franchise program where people are to be looking to
Do this not only through out the U.S. but in literally different
Islands and different countries so we have a great concept
And were looking for some people who may have an interest
In an investment level who would be a working investor
Partner and living in the U.S. so if you have ever had a dream
That you would like to be involved in your own pub or your
Own restaurant ah but also not committed to all the time what
It’s taken because we are doing this under a syndicate of
Different investors so we are covering the different times ah
