VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Ok, I hired an agency to take my original concept and "polish" it up a bit. My main concern was that my chick is currently just a tad too... well... maybe amateurish-looking in the way of design. And I hate the font my name is in. You can see my current logo here: www.CarynClark.net

Now, just so you know, I've been told that the current one "sucks," to "it's cutesy, but unique..." I've also been told that my current colors likely appeal to women, but not necessarily to men. In general, when I hand out business cards, etc. people really really like it. But, they're not ad execs or agents, etc.

So, here is the very first round of concepts. Please give me your thoughts. Keep in mind, things can be mixed and matched, and while some are b&w, I'm sure there can be color added. THANKS!!!

Wow, I'm so surprised!!! #1 reminds me of the Partridge family.

Honestly, I'm underwhelmed with all of them. The designer did say, "These are rough concepts meant for direction."

I like the font of #6, I think.

Page 4 bottom.. it has the characteristics of LoveNotes:
Familiarity, Sensuality, and Mysteriousness... all the others are just logo brands and like so many others brands will sit on a shelf somewhere collecting dust.

O.K., that is my $0.02 worth. But, what do I know?

What is hip?
Why not forget the bird and go for an image of a hip young girl?

By the way, if you DO want to go with Deebs' idea and go with a hip chick as in female human, AND if you don't think you can get that from your current designer(s), I'd be happy to put you in contact with the guy who did my stuff.

This is one of my postcards and I think she's sorta Bratz-ish in a not bratty, spacey, fun kinda way Smile
