ok, but for the vast majority, it doesn't sound like you can playback for the client.
If that's true, how is Skype an advantage over a cel phone and hands-free set? _________________ Jeff

I use Skype with an add-on called "Pamela" to record interviews for podcasts, etc. I agree that Skype is fine as a "patch." _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

if you use a board - my mackie, for example, you can run the audio out an "aux send" to the client. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I use my VO microphone to talk on Skype so when I'm doing a recording, the client can hear it in real-time. _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

I use Skype to mostly keep in touch with UK pals...free talk! I got a Nokia N800 Internet Tablet last fall and it never leaves my side. It does great Skype, but the software doesn't allow me to use the video camera included. (Probably a good thing) I think Leo Laporte uses Skype for his guests on his TWIT podcasts.
Um...um...(hate to bring it u ...but should we be giving our Skype ID's on a publicly accessed message board? |

Although this part of the VO-BB is publicly accessed, remember if you do not know the person attempting to contact you on Skype, you can always "just say NO".
You must approve of each Skype-ee or Skype-ette who contacts you. Also, you may always delete and/or ban them from contacting you again.
