Among the avian chicks, I like part of #1 - the letters that say hip chick &c should not be boxes, they could be regular letters (tilting a little this way and that) and in the same colors as the chicks. I'm thinking your name maybe shouldn't be black unless there is black somewhere else in the design. I also like #6 a lot. The others not. The lips don't make any sense.
It's a great idea to consider a human chick over avian ones. If cutesy-ness was a problem with the original chick, though, the same hazard applies to a human one. |

Caryn,
As I stated "somewhere else", I'm underwhelmed by the first takes. They look to have used fairly stock images and applied your unique tradmark phrase to them. Your present logo has more originality to it.
Obviously you want to play off "hip chick". Don't just limit the ideas to the stereotype of what "hip" is. Make it your own brand of hip, then it will truly be yours. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

I like #1 the best too....most memorable and clear of the designs for me. Gets the point across and I like the font your name is in. ( and in the interest of full disclosure I was a fan of the Partridge Family back in the day I don't care for the chick IN the egg....makes me feel claustrophobic. _________________ Moe Egan

My vote is for the first image on page 1, and the last image on page 4!

LOL.... oh, don't get me wrong, my husband likes his women hot (ok, he doesn't have multiple women that I know about... ). I think he just thought maybe her skirt shouldn't be up to you know where. He thought she should be a tad more.... professional? I dunno if I'm explaining this right. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

I'm on board with those who like the last one. I'd play with type styles for the name some more....say something more....hip. It's simple, it evokes an emotion (but doesn't go overboard) and it's memorable.
A small suggestion you're welcome to ignore, but if you're going for the image of a "hip chick", I'd move the first cut on your commercial demo to somewhere near the end. It's good, but it's the least "hip" of all the cuts.
All the best,

Bruce, do you mean the PSA read?
My new coach specifically had me move that one up front... it's the real me. In all honesty, the entire demo needs to be redone... I would voice much of it differently now.
And, thanks for your opinion. On TOF, the opinion thus far has been to keep what I have and fix 'er up.

I like #4 and #7.
I agree on using a girl. How about something like this:
It kinda has the "ipod" kind of feel. |
