Oh, Man you guys!
Thanks so much!
Connie, THANKS for the input...so you wouldn't have the French bit last? Interesting....
When I was putting this together, I was keeping in mind what I get booked the most most for, and what clients seem to like about my sound, thus the choices made WERE geared toward "selling" my most often chosen sound.
I also SO agree with the "subjective" discussion!
So....I'm not voting for Philip, cause just like Peter's NBC challenge, I don't think he'd want to send chocolates to himself! But Melissa, you're right, I could listen to his voice all day!
I vote for Melissa...it made me laugh & just like Bruce's "crap" piece in his regular demo, the sex piece it works for me!
Tied for my second choice are Bob & Mary because they are both really on target as to their particular sounds...NO one can do bird stuff like Mary & I could listen to Bob all day too...hmmmmm, maybe I should lust loop Philip & Bob and have them playing in the background all day!

You know Liz, I woke up this morning thinking about that bit of French and realized that since I have no idea what you are saying, so it may be perfect where it is in context! _________________ Playing for a living...

Thanks here too - I also tried to keep it representative of what I do, some of which comes as a surprise to some. (I would have a blast with your Mexican cousins, Connie - I lived there for almost a decade)
I didn't choose second because I can't! Too many good ones - I love Liz's and Connie's is fabulous and yes, I can also listen to Bob all day so he and Phillip can switch off. (Hey I can listen to Phillip all day and Bob all night - or vice versa! Good idea about looping them, Liz.) I really really liked Todd's and the Davids'... Impossible to choose.
Funny Liz, that sex spot was actually a pharmaceutical spot for a drug for menopause! Interesting what you get out of context. |

The sexual reference in mine was an eLearning thing on harrassment. I've decided that it really isn't right - as it was a "quote" within the basic read. I'll poke around that project and see if a juicy bit can be found that showcases the "real" read!
And yes - out of context can be so much fun - and so much trouble! _________________ Playing for a living...

So, still like Liz's for number 1, Lance's for number 2, and connie's made me laugh out loud, so she's number 3.
Sorry I'm late; blame it on the chocolate. _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |
