Mary, on the subject of Tuh-day, I've been a little bugged with myself lately for say "tuh" for the word "to", thinking it's my own sloppy Westernism, but then I listen carefully tuh other narrators and most of us are doing the same thing. I guess we properly pronounce such words when they're emphasized and then slip into a relaxed form when they're in the middle of a sentence. And they say English is the hardest language to learn. Huh.

That's the one I trip over the most, too. I hated having to do the Community Calendar back in my radio days. Whoo boy, I would slaughter the name of that feature every time.
