Liz,

As has been demonstrated yet again, Philip is (among his many wonderful qualities) a man of his word.

mmmm... chocolates..... mmmmm....

When I go to London, one of the first things I do is buy an English Mars bar... yes, they're likely junk food there, but they're so much better than US Mars bars.. which aren't made anymore.

Anyway, enjoy Liz -- you earned every blessed bite!

This all reminds of something I've been wondering (UK-Related, of course, as this is "Banksey-Themed"/"Chocolate-Themed")...

My favorite treat is a chilled HEATH Bar (chocolate-covered English Toffee). Are they even better in England or, is "English Toffee" just a term that has nothing to do at all with the British Isles?

Just a wonderin'...Mitch

There's tons of tasty treats in the UK that we don't have here. Cadbury's stuff is awesome...there are places in the U.S. that import Cadbury from Canada, but it's even better when it's the stuff made in the UK.

The. Crunchie. Bar. Rocks.

I had some great toffee while was in the UK.

London = mine favorite city in ze verld!

I lived in London for a couple of years and I noticed that Cadburys tasted much better than they did here. I was told that the ones made for US market have more sugar in them becuase US likes candy sweeter.

Actually I found that the chocolate was much better in Europe than any made in US. It was in Italy that I discovered Nutella--hmmmm.

Oh by the way--Congratulations Lizden!!!

You must ALL shut up NOW! Cruel thread.

5 minutes ago I received a call from a nurse at my GP's surgery. I have diabetes ....... All the things I enjoy eating I am now NOT allowed to eat.

I have the apetite for sweets (candy) of an 8 year old with the income to support and henceforth, to me, the shop is off limits.

OH SH*T!

PB,

Here's hoping that Deebs is at no point going to have to scold you, as I do my mom, for indulging the sweet tooth.

Take care of yourself, mate, as no one else throws frogs around here with quite your verve and wit.
