So much of it is being at the right place at the right time. It is always interesting how this business works. A friend of a friend from the UK recently fell into doing voiceovers. He was selling ads at our state's PBS station (although we all know PBS doesn't run ads) <g>. So, one of the fellow employees took this guy to his agent or the production house (I'm not sure which) and a week later he's doing a long read for Coca Cola for South Africa.
