|
|
If you know anyone looking to get into the voice over industry or if you're just at the NY Comic-Con from April 18th - 20th and want to have some fun then head on over to the Activision booth.

They're holding a contest (read: unpaid) to be a voice over extra in the Spider-Man game coming out when ever it comes out.
I'm going to be at the Comic-Con this year for The Venture Bros. panel and Gears of War 2 preview, so I may go check it out myself. |

I'll be there the night before for the Yanks/Sox game (go Phillies...! Or anyone who plays the Yankees! LOL)
But I'm meeting some friends from two studios that will be representing there. Might have to check that out.
Speaking of which, I need to hit the Venture Bros panel too. Need to get autographs from Urbanick and Hammer for my mic box.
/already got Sinternikleaas's... great guy, works his tail off. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Oh, cricket's you're right, the Yankees/Sox series is that weekend. Being from right outside of Boston I may need to check that out.
Definitely agree about Sinterniklaas - not only is his voice everywhere (everywhere that I listen to - Venture Bros. and TMNT) but he also owns and operates NYAV. Good for him. |

Yeah, poor dude is wiped out as of late. I barely saw/spoke with him at AB.
Nice guy, love him to death.
Best moment to me was watching his face at the Mercenary Audio party at AES this past year... he looked really excited.
And more than a little scared.
/great party... don't remember a thing _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Well, you know I'll be there!
Look for the guy in the picture to the left, now with a beard and most likely wearing a Venture Bros. or Futurama T-shirt. |
