Just curious.
I ran through all the danged code I could imagine that affects the page loads today, and found some more garbage that I cleaned up.

It does seem a bit faster than before.
I was only able to do one load of towels this time... before I was logged in.

I may have the world's slowest Internet connection that bears the name "broadband" here in my hotel room in Belfast and it does seem to be running a bit faster for me, too.

I just did a refresh of the main boards page and it still took about 55 seconds to load

logging in is still pretty slow for me.
but once i'm in - it seems a bit faster.

faster here...some pages more so than others, but a real improvement.

Ditto what Todd said.
At one point today (around 2 I think) it seemed back to normal...then slowed down a bit...but it IS faster than at the slowest times!

Slow going here as well when I first load up the main phpBB page. After I get in, it's not so bad. Not sure how else to 'splain it.

Yes, mostly faster. Log in was fine. Sometimes opening a current thread takes a little longer than normal, but moving to the next page of the same thread is back to normal. So it's definitely better on this end. Thanks for your detective work, Deebs.

a bit slow for me. took a while for the log in to register. then i tried to go from entre nous to chat, and it took a bit of time!
