Hey all VO-BB's in or near the Chicagoland area. The Bob Souer World Tour has to make a detour to Chicago, IL this coming weekend. So, we're putting out a call to any Vo-BB'ers that would like to get together for lunch on Sat., April 12th. Any takers? If so, where should we meet?
(This is Cinda typing. My 96 year old grandmother passed away and we have a memorial service in Chicago on Friday. Most of the relatives are flying home Sat. morning, so an early lunch would be perfect as Bob's outbound flight won't take off until 6 p.m. By the way. I've hijacked Eric's account to announce this without talking it over with Bob first - won't he be surprised when he reads this post? <grin> I hope many can come...I love meeting all of you!) |

Surprised, yes and delighted. We'd be open to make this pretty much any where in the Chicago area that makes sense to folks. I suppose the thing that would be most easy for me is for it to be somewhere not too far from O'Hare as that's where I'll need to catch my plane Saturday afternoon. _________________ Be well,

Well, first, my condolences.
Second, my apologies: I've been waiting a long time for the BSWT to come through here, and now I'm gonna miss it! I'll be in Atlanta next weekend. |

Very sorry for your loss.
I would love to be a part of the BSWT, so hopefully I can reschedule something that's planned for Saturday.
There's a Hooters right by O'Hare...

(Safe travels, Bob!)

Bob and Cinda, my deepest sympathies for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Unfortunately, I have also been waiting far too long for the BSWT to make it's way to our city and I am going to be in Augusta watching some fellas chase the Master's dream. I am so sad about this as I wanted to see Bob and meet Cinda. Drat! _________________ Pam Tierney

I'm sorry I won't get to see Tony or Pam while we're there, but I'm looking forward to meeting Lou and Tom. And anyone else who can make it, you're welcome to join us.
We'll be gathering at around 11:15 AM for an early lunch at Ted's Montana Grill in Schaumburg. (click on the restaurant name for the address on Meacham Road.) Wives and children are welcome as most likely Cinda and our 3 boys will be with me this time. Hopefully Lou or Tom will bring a camera. _________________ Be well,

The BSWT made it's Chicago-area stop in Schaumburg as planned. Tom Test and I got there first, followed by Bob and his family, and Bob's friend Bev. We had a great time talking VO, non-VO and enjoying some tasty food at Ted's Montana Grill...
The VO-BBers of the group, from left to right, Tom, Lou, Bob and Eric posing under the big ol' Buffalo head at Ted's.
Tom, Brian, Cinda, Bob, David, Bev and Eric
And the same one with me & Tom trading places
Thanks Cinda for organizing this get-together...very much enjoyed meeting the Souer family and Bev, and Tom, good to see you again! _________________ Lou Zucaro
