I don't know if any of y'all have read "Flat Stanley" by Jeff Brown, but my older daughter (the cowgirl in the picture) is reading that in her 2nd grade class. She has an assignment and I was wondering if anyone would be up for helping out with it.
Here's what's involved. They are going to send a "Flat Stanley" to friends in another part of the country. The person who receives it is supposed to take Stanley on an adventure or some sightseeing, and would have to take pictures. Kelli (my daughter) wanted to know if any of the voiceover people I "talk to" would be up for doing it, maybe having Stanley in the booth while doing a voiceover?
If anyone would be interested, please contact me by pm with your mailing address. Thanks for humoring me and Kelli!

I remember when Flat Stanley was in Younger Bear's 2nd grade class!! How nice that he's in your child's class now.
I think of Flat Stanley when I hear about the next place Bob Souer is heading, I must confess.
Send Flat Stanley our way!
He can do a VO with us or be in a film shoot or something nifty. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Very cool! Thanks Deebs! If you can pm me your addy, I'll have it sent to you. I think she'll be writing a letter to you with instructions. She is sitting right here next to me and is very excited, and thinks it will be so cool - having Stanley doing something that probably no one else will have their Stanley doing! _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Thank you to those who have already PMd me. I really appreciate your willingness, as does my daughter. Since Deebs responded first, she is the winnah!
(If anyone is feeling left out, my 4th grade son is working on building a California mission model. )
This is really a cool place! The pot of coffee being brewed right now is raised in honor of my VO-BB peeps!
And if anyone has or will have a Flat Stanley project of their own, count me in. _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Thanks David, but it's supposed to be in the U.S. - otherwise, it would take a bit too long. Kelli first wanted to send it to her aunt and uncle in Israel, but wouldn't be able to.
Heading to DB's house in Maine will have to do! _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Too bad it can't wait till summer, or I'd take Flat Stanley up to the top of a peak:
Actually, if there is time, I could take him to the Stanley Hotel:

Hey Scott!
Sorry...somehow I missed this...funny though that this is my second "Flat Stanley" encounter.
Just for fun (& $$), once a semester I teach a 1-night cooking class called "Creative Crêpes" at the local Adult Ed. I usually have about 20 people sjow up & we have a blast!
Well this past class, in March, one of the women who participated brought a Flat Stanley & took pictures of him by all the Crêpe fixins!
It was very cute!
