Extreme editing ..........Sounds like something you'll find on Bravo at 2am.

What's that? You're now posting that you've added promo work for Bravo? Have you learned nothing from this thread!?!? Laugh

Phillip,

I find myself thinking about your success and what it must've taken to get there. Sometimes I think, "I wish I could make posts like that". So I use your posts to help me set and keep goals for myself.

I try to use the success of others to remind myself that with hard work I can make a decent living at this voice junk.

It is not my goal to land the same kind of jobs as you or others on this board. It IS my goal to carve a niche for myself doing the kind of voice work that only I can do.

It's like you told me some time ago... there's only ONE place the world can go to get the voice of Dave Christi... and that's at Dave Christi's place.

Here's to your continued success (EVERYONE)!

Philip...

I have witnessed occasional parties, or flurries of kudos, every time someone lands a cool gig or gets on a network commercial. I think those updates are very well received and honored.

I receive your updates with a different interest. I do not view them as boastful or "in your face". I view them as a personal glimpse into your life as a voice actor... the life that many of us would like to experience on a daily basis.

And as for the dime and the $10 bill...
Anytime you can step on complainants' shoe, without scuffing the shine, is a trait to be desired.

This is a place where you can post, read and believe what you want. (without getting grounded by the Board Czar) I enjoy reading and sharing in everybody's successes, as well as challenges. I truly enjoy the supportive atmosphere here. It's a safe haven of my peers. Some of us are more forthcoming, some are shy about discussing all their accomplishments, and some are just lurkers. All in all it's a cool community....and all about FREE SPEECH. And there's room for all of us.
