not as long or strong - but window rattling, nonetheless. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

| I felt that aftershock. It only lasted a few seconds here. |

| It was a 4.5. There have been a number of smaller ones after the 5.2 this morning too. |

My "ex" and 2 kids live in Evansville, IN. They woke up to the quake today. I was on the phone with the ex when the aftershock hit at 10:15.
No damage.
Just frayed nerves. _________________ Dave "Christi" Felton

aren't you supposed to stand in a doorway and hold the jamb ... not run away crying like a teeny tiny ?
or ... wait. that was part of the audition, right ? _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

I was already awake this morning when the first one hit, it got my attention! I knew once I didn't see the trees moving that it wasn't a storm or tornado. I've felt a few small tremors throughout the morning. We had one in '87 that was similar but I was in a room with a chandelier and french doors so it was a classic movie moment with swaying lights and rattling glass doors. Maybe Illinois will fall off before California does! _________________ Pam Tierney

Todd, when we heard about the quake this morning, we were hoping everything was ok at your house. Glad to hear that it is. _________________ Mary |

Wow, and here I am in San Francisco where you'd expect quakes... nary a peep (keeping fingers crossed til I fly out tomorrow).

On CNN they said it could be felt from Atlanta to Milwaukee.
Sheeeeeeiiiiiikes that's a pretty long way for a lil ol earthquake on a mostly inactive fault. _________________ Lou Zucaro

Earthquakes are amusing for about 3 seconds... after that... you want to get off the ride. _________________ "Bailey"
