These three cities are the May 2008 stops on what has sometimes been called The Bob Souer World Tour.

Specifically I'll arrive in Pensacola, FL late in the evening of Thursday, May 8th and leaving the morning of Sunday, May 11th. My hope is to see if a few of us can gather for dinner on Friday evening, May 9th or breakfast on Saturday morning, May 10th. Maybe somewhere between Pensacola and Mobile? (This trip is for Eric's high school graduation. We've been home-schooling him, using a curriculum from a school in Pensacola and he gets to take part in the school graduation there.)

Then I'll fly in to Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday evening, May 15th and will fly back home Saturday afternoon, May 17th. Friday morning, May 16th is taken up with meetings, but I'm planning to drive to Columbus, OH or somewhere in that neck of the woods for either dinner Friday evening May 16th or breakfast on Saturday morning, May 17th.

And finally, I fly in to the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX airport on Wednesday around Noon on May 28th and fly home on Monday morning, June 2nd. I'm actually staying in Johnson County, outside Fort Worth for the week. Since that Wednesday, May 28th is the day most open in my schedule, I'm hoping maybe we can get together somewhere in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro for dinner on the 28th?

If you live anywhere near any of these 3 cities and are interesting in a get-together of some kind, please reply to this thread or write me an email. (Just click the email button below to start an email to me.) As an additional note, the whole family is going on the trip to Pensacola, but the other 2 are just me.

I'd love to meet for dinner on the 28th if we can work it out. If there's any interest, I'd be happy to give folks a tour of Reel FX, the studio where I work. I could probably arrange to deliver demo reels to our audio department while we're there, and could share a sneak peek at some of the stuff we're working on.

We're just east of downtown Dallas, and we've got a few nice restaurants in the neighborhood of the studio, so folks could just park in our lot and we could do the tour, then walk to dinner a block or two away. If that's not the best location, I'd be happy to make a drive to something more convenient for everyone.

Check your email Bob! If it all works out, we'll get to meet up for dinner Friday evening! I look forward to it!

Justin,

I think the idea of meeting up by your office, taking a tour of the place and then walking down the block for dinner sounds like a great idea. Let's do that. So, who else lives in (or close enough) to the Metroplex and can join us Wednesday evening, May 28th?

Allen I hate that I won't get to meet you. Due to other obligations I'll have to meet Bob for breakfast on Friday.

Brian and Allen,

Please remember to bring your cameras. And I look forward to seeing you both. And you, Justin, when I'm in Texas later this month.

Also, so far no one in Ohio or Western Pennsylvania has posted anything about getting together next week. I'm planning to drive to Columbus on Friday evening or Saturday morning next week and hope to see at least a few of my friends there for dinner or breakfast, which ever is more convenient.

Hey Bob,

When you get your plans firmed up for the Ohio itinerary, let me know and I will see if I can hook up with you on Friday the 16th!

Brian, I hate it too bro...maybe we can hook up another weekend when you have some free time. We're not very far apart Smile

Camera is ready Bob! I look forward to meeting you and the family too! My wife Pam will be coming along as well.

Allen,

I'm delighted to know Pam will be able to join us. We're looking forward to breakfast with Brian and JD in the morning and dinner with you and Pam in the evening. It's going to be a great VO-BB day.

Also, Rob, by now I hope you've seen the flurry of emails. It looks like breakfast on Saturday morning works with most schedules. I hope you can squeeze that in, too.

Well...alright! The Bob Souer Family World Tour stops in Crestview, FL!

It was a pleasure to meet Bob, Cinda, Eric, David and Bryan! We met at Ryan's Family Restaurant in Crestview FL for a very nice dinner and plenty of conversation. Naturally the convo was largely about VO...and the VO-BB Smile

Bob..thanks for meeting us halfway on the drive! Pam and I enjoyed it very much!

Now...for the pics.

A wonderful time and great to meet Bob and his family!
