OMG!!!!
Philip owes me a new keyboard AND monitor!!!!!!
And I'm sure with such a great headshot, he can do "on-camera" too and continue to live in the style to which he is accustomed!!!!

I'm looking forward to Jazza's character reel where he shines in his portrayal of Dachshunds, Dalmatians, and Dingoes.

I LOVE me some Philip Banks!
Dear Board Sage,
You have made my day. For so many reasons your act of canine vocal site infiltration is a beautiful thing. I needed to read that today. I'm sure Jazz will turn heads and get noticed.

How's come there's no demo yet? Gotta hear the pipes if we're going to hire the kid.
Fabby stuff PB,

P.S. I'm doing a screen capture before the V!@# folks catch on. _________________ VO-BB Member #31 Enlisted June, 2005

I've got to tell you that this does nothing for me.
Anyone can be a standard subscriber. What we were discussing is for Jazz to be a full member, or better yet, a seeker and start tossing a job or two out there (offer a fee: a dozen milkbones and some kibble... no $ due to lack of opposable thumb).
I'm willing to toss some $ for the membership fee... it'd be worth it.
I'm leaning more towards the use of the seeker account... it's free and would send the message home to a lot of folks (though I doubt V123 would get the message), while being totally hilarious at the same time.
Still, since this is on the public forum, I'd expect someone from the site to figure it out pretty quickly. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Sir Philip...
EXCELLENT! (And furthur "pay to play"-related fodder from a previous thread of mine)
I actually e-mailed one of the two main pay-to plays (to the e-mails of both the husband & wife in charge)...in an effort to seek info on why they DON'T screen talent to determine professionalism & craft-well knowing that this would, of course, destroy their "cash cow" business model...and asked the following: "If I paid the MEMBERSHIP FEE, would my CAT be considered a Professional Voice Talent (his closest VO experience being "yawning"), if I wanted him to be, as long as the MEMBERSHIP FEE cleared my credit card?"
I have, to date, received no response.
Was doing this a complete waste of my time...sure was!...did I enjoy it?...sure did!

I like the idea of full premium membership and the PR value would be great especially if we could get the ratings system to work in Jazz's favour.
Pledge from me $50. $245 to go. |

Now if you can just get Jazz through the SaVoa "accreditation", he might have the edge on any upstart young pup.

He definitely needs a demo.
Is there anyone nearby who could produce it for him?
Also, I think another one of his special skills could be "herding tourists". _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I'd love to put together his demo... just so long as when he hits the big time and all his other 4-legged pals are looking to get THEIR demos produced, he remembers his old pal Chris!
Mr Banks, if you want to send me tracks, I'll put some stuff together. _________________ Chris Rice - Noisemaker
