Which is why design and marketing services command the prices they do for those who don't have the tools / skills / time to DIY _________________ Lou Zucaro

mr. k
now that you've got it, i'll be even more interested to know exactly how you go about using it.
i have the design capabilities (although i've been taking careful notes on all the tips you've gotten), but once it's done the brain says, "well, that's that..." and i'm usually the only one who ever sees the thing.
please keep this story going. _________________ rowell gormon

Well, I just shipped the .psd file to Vistaprint and ordered 200 postcards for about $20, including shipping. I have a database of ~187 previous clients, agents, and folks I've sent my reel to. They'll all get a postcard. _________________ Jeff

Exactly! It's not as simple as it looks--I've studied design and I still have a lot to learn (I'm much better with more "artsy" illustrative work vs. organizing information on a page like this). It does seem like pulling together a card should be quick & simple, but there's an art & skill to it, just like there's an art & skill behind performing VO copy, even if it's a 15-second spot for the local taco shack.
Anyway, Jeff--I think your final design looks really good and I hope it serves you well! |
