I am listening to the Ratatouille soundtrack right now and I highly recommend it. It's charming and calming and just positively wonderful! The perfect background music for dinner or getting stuff done or finishing up the crossword
Me likey Pixar. |

Michael Giacchino rules. My fave is the Incredibles score... very cool retro superhero sound. Was kinda disappointed in his Speed Racer one though. I'll have to check out Ratatouille! _________________ Chris Rice - Noisemaker

Yeah, there are some great soundtracks out there for that kind of thing.
Pixar aside, the score from Antz (original stuff by Harry Gregson-Williams and John Powell) is another good one. And a lot of Jeremy & Julian Soule's stuff from the Guild Wars and last two Elder Scrolls games are really excellent background music. _________________ Lou Zucaro

I love this soundtrack. My favourites are the song by Camille and also the 'Wall Rat' theme.
You're right though, they're all good! |

I love showtunes, but I'm also a big fan of the symphonic scores like "Conan the Barbarian'. That has to be one of my all time favorites.
And anything and everything by Ennio Morricone, especially 'The Untouchables'. I could listen to that all day long. |

Those are my favorites too! I've had some of Camille's other stuff for a couple of years now, and Wall Rat is so great--I can just see the whole thing in my mind when I hear that music . . . as he scurries up the building and voila he's in Paris! I need to watch that movie again. |

I am a huge music dork and spend way too much time online finding music and then organizing it into playlists for myself & my friends. I think you might like the mix I made recently for a friend who was feeling a bit down . . . you probably have a lot of these songs already (if not they're on iTunes, or I can just mail you a CD if you pm me your address). My friend likes Disney songs and Sousa marches, so this may seem like a bit of an odd mix at first, but something about these songs in this order always makes me smile.
On the Sunny Side:
On the Sunny Side of the Street . . . John Lithgow featuring Madeline Peyroux
Put on a Happy Face . . . Tony Bennett & James Taylor
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life . . . Monty Python
Pennies From Heaven . . . Louis Prima
You've Got a Friend In Me (duet version) . . . Randy Newman & Lyle Lovett
Banana Pancakes . . . Jack Johnson
Black Bird . . . Fred Benedetti & Peter Pupping
Pink Moon . . . Nick Drake
Beautiful Day . . . U2
Here Comes the Sun . . . Sheryl Crow
Don't Panic . . . Coldplay
Umbrella (single version) . . . Marié Digby
Raindrops Keep Failling On My Head . . . Arthur Fiedler & Boston Pops Orchestra
Smile . . . Madeline Peyroux
Little April Shower (soundtrack version) . . . Bambi
Daydream (American Idol Performance---don't laugh). . . Jason Castro
The Cassions Go Rolling Along . . . Band of the Grenadier Guards & Rodney Bashford
Fun, Fun, Fun . . . The Beachboys
Summer Sunshine . . . The Corrs
What a Wonderful World (single) . . . Louis Armstrong |

Fab choices RayAnime! I was just watching 'Happy Feet' this past week-end. That's a jolly soundtrack as well.
I've sent you a PM...
Cheers!
