you could circumvent that painful apostrophe/no apostrophe (i vote the latter) by getting rid of "Quick Demo's" altogether, and replacing "More Demo's" (hurts me to type that apostrophe) with something that could use an apostrophe, like "Mo' VO" heh or "More Audio" or some such.

to me, that ' sticks OUT!

Site is now live.

There are a couple of picky things that are unfinished, but the designer is on vacation, and I thought it might be more important to finally get this thing up, than to wait.

"About Dave" page says "About Us" when you get there, and at the last minute, the designer seems to have airbrushed the very left edge of the dominant "C" letter of the main logo with a darker shade...

As I said....to me, not worth the postponement of the launch....

Many many thanks to everyone for their input on this project.... it was a significant factor in some of the eventual changes.

Blessings!

Dave,

On your "studio" page, you might want to correct the microphone to MHK-416 P48. (Right now you have it as NHK.) The site looks terrific, though I agree you'll want the main logo fixed once your designer is back from vacation.

some things (and maybe these are the aforementioned "picky things" awaiting the designer's return from vacation):

on your front page--
you have this spelling error:
Quote:
presentions

capital Y?
Quote:
30 Years

on About Dave page--
spelling error:
Quote:
Graduated KIIS Broadcasting Workship

on Contact page--
would you rather say 'among'?
Quote:
variables between projects

needs a space here
Quote:
time spent,word-count

i didn't check particulars like working links but overall it looks good.

one thing you may consider, and maybe this was discussed in the previous 4 pages (!!), is getting rid of the hyphen between voice and actor
Quote:
(voice - actor)

other than a glaring omission of mentions of furalex, merry merchants and threadjackers local, it's loooookin' goooood.

thanks for the opportunity to procrastinate ... !

'Seems to me like you REALLY checked the particulars, and I'm very grateful, 'cause my eyes scanned right over that stuff... THANKS!

Now I'm gonna go back and check the links too....

As an editor/writer, these things caught my eye right off the bat:

Avoid needless capitalization... unless it's a proper name or the beginning of a sentence or a headline, you don't capitalize... so, with that said, I suggest the following:

30 years voice and broadcast experience
Home studio for quick turnaround

I agree with 'pinto on removing the hypen in Voice Actor... just as you wouldn't say "live-actor" or "Shakespearean-actor" you don't say "Voice-actor" It's simply "Voice Actor"

On your contact page, you need a dash after your phone number, before it says "Dictate your copy to me" Also, dictate should be all lowercase

On Home Studio page:

aside from the NHK fix noted earlier, you need to make the clock speed on yoru DAW say MHz instead of Mghz

the size of your room is 4' x 5' (not 4x5')

there seems to be a return after "covered" which forces the next part of the sentence down an extra line; also after "the' and before "USB"

otherwise, lookin' very good Mr. C.

Wink

Dave, dumb question.

Do you really have 2 processors in the Win XP DAW?

Just asking... aside from the folks using the Mac Pro towers I thought I was the only one insane enough to use a 2 CPU system (especially for a Windows XP system).

Greg,

You are not alone. At the office we also have a dual (Xeon) processor Win XP Pro Tools workstation.

Dave, looks super-snazzy!

NOTE however that your textnav at the bottom are all broken (seems they were never set, so they don't go anywhere). This seems to be on all pages.

Also the DogAndPony Studio link on the Links page isn't set to open in a new window, so it takes people away from your site.

Finally, I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but again, consider a form on your site rather than putting the e-mail link there to help keep spam down. Some people don't like to force visitors to fill out a form, but keep in mind that many users who use web-based mail can't click on the link anyway.

But again, looks great!
