I've been lurking so long, it feels strange to actually say "Hi". It seems as if I already know so many of you.
By way of introduction, I'm a NY-based actor who's been fortunate enough to have acted in Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, what seem like countless off-off Broadway and regional shows, and in film and on television. (Some of you of a certain relatively youthful age may recall me as the leacherous doctor in some MTV promos in which I prescribed "MTV" to young Buddy.)
Recent health (spinal) setbacks have left theater work essentially behind me and have me looking at voice acting as a positive, creative outlet. So, as one proverbial door closes, I await what is beyond the new door that will hopefully open.
...and, to paraphrase Deirdre's "Welcome Aboard" e-mail, I'm ready to "join the party"!
In fact, looking forward to it! _________________ --Michael

I'll beat Michael to listing his demo link: http://dmichaelb.com/index.html?
His "potpourri" demo plays automatically when you go to the site.
Good stuff there sir! Theater peeps make great VO peeps. Welcome aboard.

Wow, you folks are awesome! Don’t know why I didn’t dive into the pool earlier. (After all, it’s “dolphins only,” right?)
Collectively, you’re also scarily sharp and very QUICK! I hadn’t initially posted my website only because I’m in the process of designing a separate, voiceover-only one that will (hopefully) be up in a few weeks.
Thanks, Stef, for enjoying the cut from my favorite radio commercial, written, directed and produced years ago by Jim Giberti at The Imagination Company in Bethel, Vermont.
And thanks to all for making a newbie feel welcome! _________________ --Michael

Doors?... What doors?
Jim and Penny never said there would be doors!
You guys never said nothing about doors!
Here I've been looking for that 'window of opportunity'... and you people are using doors?
Welcome Michael.
How come Michael knew about the door?
You guys are watching way too much HGTV!
... what?... Who stole my chair?
