|
|
Hello....popping my head up to take a breath and beg for insight.
My PC died Thursday, I'm working off my Macbook/snowball/audacity "travel" set up....and I've got a snag. I have a IVR job that needs to be delivered as A/mu law WAV files....I could do that on my PC...but on the Mac with Audacity I got nothin.
Any suggestions for share ware conversion software that:
1) works on a Mac
2) can convert to A/mu law files.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you (of course this is for a new client-due by EOB! Yikes) _________________ Moe Egan

Cool...if anyone in future needs to know...Audacity DOES convert to 8 bit u-law files....I just had to dig a little deeper to find the 'other' options.

whew! you just saved both of us a lot of work.
i had just come back to see if you'd gotten an answer, and to offer to batch-convert your rush job here if it would help.
more cheers for audacity. it continues to amaze me with what it'll do...especially for a free program. _________________ rowell gormon

Ah, thank you Rowell that was very sweet of you to think of that. Yea I'm amazed at all that Audacity can do. I bet I'd be even MORE amazed if I read the instructions _________________ Moe Egan

Moe,
Actually, I don't stop for directions any more either. I used to, but now I have a GPS, a gift from my wonderful wife Cinda last year. _________________ Be well,

No GPS for me. I tell the kids "We're on an adventure" and drive around till stuff looks familiar I saw a comic on TV not long ago who did a great bit on GPS systems. He said "the lady in his car died so he can't remember how to get to the store anymore." _________________ Moe Egan

0h Moe, You are so funny. You could do stand up using all the exchanges between you and your kiddies. |
